With the switch to daylight saving time, does it seem later sooner? I’m still writing 8am on all my checks. Can we set the clocks ahead 4 more days so it will be the weekend again? I’m tired of the government deciding to steal an hour of my precious sleep. When do we march?

Unemployment is now at the lowest it's been in 7 years. Of course, it helps to hire lots of people to check and see if people are getting jobs.

Hillary Clinton’s emails have been released and, to the surprise of no one, huge chunks are missing. She must have “misremembered” not “deleting everything.”

This is women’s history month and there is talk of replacing Alexander Hamilton on the $20 bill with a famous female. Ooh! I hope they go with Lizzy Bordon … or Lady Gaga.

Diane Nash, one of the leaders of the Selma movement, was so upset President George Bush attended the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, she refused to march. Kids, this is a shining example of how NOT to show tolerance. Or class.

A pair of California girls were arrested for carving their initials into a wall at Rome’s Coliseum and snapping a selfie with their handiwork. Instead of finishing their Italian vacation, the girls get a tour of the Roman prison system. ARE THEY NOT ENTERTAINED?

It’s the one year anniversary of the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. I bought my new phone from a Malaysian company; I switched it to “airplane mode” and now I can’t find the darn thing. Malaysian authorities vow they will never stop looking for the missing plane, unless they find it. I have a friend we nicknamed “Malaysia 370” because every time it’s her turn to pick up the tab, she disappears.

And a few things you need to know …

On this date in 1822, a patent was granted for the invention of artificial teeth. This paved the way for synthetic cavities.

On this date in 1961, the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 9 carried a dog named Chernushka into orbit. It orbited the earth three times before it sat down.

The group Hall and Oates are suing a granola company for calling one of their products “Haulin' Oats.” Better watch out — she's a bran-eater!

Harrison Ford is recovering nicely from injuries suffered after crashing his plane on a California golf course. The crash was bad enough, but then a giant stone started rolling towards him.

Barbie officially turns 56 today. Not surprising, she's had a lot of work done and is mostly plastic. If Barbie is so popular, why DO you have to buy her friends? Remember guys – you don’t have to act like Ken to win Barbie’s heart – you need to act like GI Joe.

It’s the latest scandal; the people who make the Snuggie have been sued for $8 million for false advertising. The deal is, they offered a buy one get one free deal and people didn’t realize they STILL had to pay the extra shipping and handling. Because people don’t read. An investigation onto Snug-gazi is ongoing.

And … a happy update from Friday! In case you missed it, they found Lucy the Dog who went missing in that huge crash on 459. Lucy is fine and back with her human mommy. I love happy endings almost as much as I love dogs. I just wish I enjoyed anything as much as Hera Mason enjoys EVERYTHING.
