Baltimore is in ruins this morning after a night of looting, burning and rioting supposedly related to the death of Freddie Gray, the man who died in police custody. Baltimore’s mayor said, “we gave those that wanted to destroy a place to destroy”. I hope they started with her own house. One of the best images to emerge from the chaos is a mother slapping the heck out of her kid who was taking part in a mob. That awkward moment when you’re trying to riot and your mom shows up.

It’s official; more people sympathize with Bruce Jenner crying to Diane Sawyer than they do with the victims of the devastating earthquake in Nepal. Thanks to some daring helicopter maneuvers, all the stranded climbers on Mount Everest have been rescued. Only on Everest can you almost get killed 8 times before you die.

And a few things you need to know …

On this date in 1789, the famous “Mutiny on the Bounty” took place. The ship’s crew ignored the captain’s orders and switched from Bounty to the cheaper Costco brand of paper towels.
