March ROCKness – Basketball Collection
As the madness rolls on, I look at the best classic songs while prepping the basketball games this month. You can’t go wrong with the parody song “Basketball Jones featuring Tyrone Shoelaces” by Cheech & Chong. As you are laughing at the vocals and lyrics by Cheech, don’t let the music be ignored. Some very notable musicians contributed including George Harrison, Carole King. Billy Preston, and many more.
Van Halen’s “Jump” is an automatic song to get you fired up for tip-off and the arena rock anthems of Queen’s “We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions” and “Another One Bites The Dust” are staples.
