Rushed: Sharron Bentley and her crew at Compass Bank. Sharron says: "I have worked for Compass Bank for 31 years and manage 10 of the most wonderful people. Our group is called 'Consumer Quality Control' and is headed up my manager, Dwight Julbert. Sugar Rush today was out at Jeff State Community College. Elaine Tindill-Rohr is the lady in the middle. She is a computer programmer for the IT dept at Jeff state.

This week we rushed out to Irondale to North American Construction Company. They build and repair those huge furnaces that places like US Pipe and US Steel use. These furnaces cost like 6 million bucks apiece, I guess they get pretty hot. Anyway, the blonde lady on the right is Teresa Hood. She is the office manager and the Eagle Insider who sent us the Sugar Rush request. Mission Accomplished, Teresa!

This week The Eagle landed at Southlake Orthopedics to see Eagle listener Eric Hardy and his "Ortho-Crew." Our timing was a little off as some of the staff were in surgery... but that just means more sugary Shipley goodness for the rest, right?

The inaugural Shipley Sugar Rush was for our friends at the Homewood Fire Department. When we got there, they had already done some rushing of their own taking care of an emergency somewhere around town. So we had to leave all those delicious Shipley do-nuts with Theotis, the generator man... I hope he saved some for the returning firefighters...
